An installation with GardenScape takes away the hard work of designing, planning, and implementing your kitchen garden project. We eliminate the confusion and frustration, setting you up for success from the start.
When you book a consultation with us, you receive an in-person visit. The consult begins with a tour of your landscape, an introduction to our best practices in setting up a thriving kitchen garden, and a discussion about the kitchen garden designs that best fit your landscape and priorities.
GardenScape doesn't use any synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides in our raised gardens, soil, or plants. We utilize organic practices for pest control and tending.
We believe in supporting local small businesses and partner with a variety of local growers to provide our clients with the healthiest and most naturally grown plants.
Yes, we offer personal coaching sessions in your garden anytime you need extra help or have questions. We also provide group coaching sessions each season, in addition to services such as quarterly garden clean-ups, composting, and seasonal plant installation for gardens established by the GardenScape team.
Our mission at GardenScape is show you our way of gardening in your garden. Each GardenScape installation includes access to a monthly video series called The Olympia Non-Stop Kitchen Garden, delivering lessons on what to plant, tend, and harvest each month directly to your inbox.
Harvests depend on what is planted, but a general rule is that for every square foot of garden space, you will receive 1-2 harvests per month. For example, a 30-square-foot garden can yield two servings of greens or one larger vegetable per day.
Clients are often surprised at the potential locations for a kitchen garden. In some cases, ornamental landscapes can be replaced to make space. We believe there is always room to grow your own fresh herbs and vegetables.
Some vegetables, such as tomatoes or cucumbers, might be challenging to grow in part shade areas, but herbs and greens can thrive in these conditions.
Our mission is to bring back the kitchen garden with a passion for teaching and educating our clients. Most of our clients are beginner gardeners who hire GardenScape not only to set up their gardens but also to help them learn.
GardenScape uses the highest quality materials, from cedar to soil to plants. A kitchen garden is an investment in your home and yard. Prices start at $5,000 for a single cedar garden and vary based on the size, number of gardens, and materials used.
Garden installations typically take 2-4 weeks upon receipt of the 50% deposit. Cedar gardens are usually installed within two weeks of deposit, while metal or powder-coated gardens take 4-6 weeks. Our team arrives on installation day with everything ready to complete your installation in one to two days.
